LIGHT - Full sun to partial shade. Care of hot afternoon sun which can burn the leaves. Morning sun, afternoon shade is ideal.
WATER - Water moderately. Allow the soil to dry out before watering again. Will not tolerate overwatering.
SOIL – Very porous, even rocky, well draining soil. Rocky quartz fields are their natural habitat.
COLD TOLERANCE - Zones 9a -11b. Thrives in heat. Not frost hardy. Like summer temps of 65-70 °F.
