LIGHT - Full sun to partial shade.  Loves bright light at least 4-6 hours/day
 
WATER - Spring to early fall, water moderately; Autumn/winter, 1-2/month.  Allow the soil to dry out before watering again.
 
SOIL – Very porous, even rocky, well draining soil. Rocky quartz fields are their natural habitat.
 
COLD TOLERANCE - Zones 9-11.
