LIGHT – Full sun to partial shade. Care of hot afternoon sun which can burn the leaves. Morning sun, afternoon shade is ideal.
WATER - Spring to early fall, water moderately; Autumn/winter, 1-2/month. Allow the soil to dry out before watering again.
SOIL – Very porous, even rocky, well drainied soil. Rocky quartz fields are their natural habitat.
COLD TOLERANCE - Zones 9b – 11b
DORMANCY – Summer
SIZE – Up to 3 feet tall
FLOWERS – White to pink star-shaped flowers from spring to mid-summer
PROPAGATION – Division, offsets, leaf cuttings
