COLD TOLERANCE - Zones 9b - 11b.  Doesn't like temps below 32°F.  Should be protected in a greenhouse during the winter.

 

DORMANCY - Winter

 

SIZE – Up to 20 feet tall; white spines can reach up to 1 inch long

 

FLOWERS – Small green or yellow flowers

 

PROPAGATION – From cuttings in spring

 

TOXICITY - Known to be toxic to humans and pets.
